Esports Platform EWar Raises US$200,000 in Equity Funding

Bengaluru-based esports platform EWar raised US $ 200,000 in equity funding from Angel Investments. Angel Investments is a Kolkata-based sports management firm Gameplan Sports Pvt Ltd and its founder Jeet Banerjee.

The funds raised by EWar will be used to optimize the user experience of its mobile gaming platform and perfect the quality. Apart from this, attention will also be paid to the marketing and brand promotion of the app.

As per the report, Parth Chadha, Founder & CEO, EWar has stated that we are happy to announce our first equity funding which has taken place within three months of the establishment of EWar. Within a very short time, our esports Applications have become quite popular. EWar is now aiming to cater to a user base of over 1 million in the next two months and is itself the most customer-centric gaming platform M and wants to place as one-stop solution for enthusiasts of all gaming and e-sports in India.

EWar was launched in January 2020. It hosts real-money games, leagues and tournaments. The app includes many games such as Ludo, Pro Cricket Champion, Candy Jam, Drift Boss, PUBG, Knife and Freefire. According to the EWAR website, the app has over 100,000 downloads so far. And this platform is available in eight local languages.
