Match Poker Nations Cup Final will be Played Online

The International Federation of Match Poker (IFMP) Nations Cup final, to be held on May 30 and 31 due to the coronavirus epidemic, will now be played online. Along with worldwide travel restrictions and measures of social foresight, players from 14 participating teams – including world champions Ukraine, European champions Spain and Asian champions India – will all play from home.

Special gameplay software will be employed to allow players to see and communicate with them at their tables. In addition, contestants will be allowed to chat with teammates, team captains, managers and other analysts during breaks. Play will be divided into morning and evening / night sessions.

Match poker is a unique form of Texas Hold’em poker where players are dealt cards at the table and the winning prizes are awarded and teams are identified during the game.
