Paytm First Games Invests in Rooter Sports Technologies

Paytm First Games, whose parent company One97 Communications invested 5 million (approximately $ 655,000) in router sports technologies as part of the pre-series A investment round. Piyush and Deepesh Aggarwal founded Rooter Sports Technologies in 2016. It is a sports social community platform where fans can access curated content in their preferred language.

Gaming fans can live-stream their plays, share gaming videos, and connect with other gamers. According to the website, Rutgers currently has about five million fans who spend an average of about 24 minutes onstage per day.

The router will act as an acquisition channel for Paytm, in which users will consume content about players and teams before playing fantasy cricket through Paytm. Paytm now has more than 30 million registered users, and has seen nearly 75,000 new sign-ups daily since the lockdown to curb coronovirus in late March in India.
