Summer Olympics Tokyo canceled due to Outbreak of Coronovirus

Summer Olympics can be canceled due to the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 in Tokyo. The opening ceremony is scheduled for July 24 at the Olympic Stadium in the Japanese capital. But the deadly virus is still active and the coronavirus COVID-19 has the potential to become an epidemic.

There are 80,239 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus originating in Wuhan, China. Ninety-nine percent (77,780) cases have been identified in China. The virus has now infected people in 33 other countries or regions.

Japan is set for the sports world this summer. Japan is expected to go ahead with the grant of three integrated resort licenses after the Summer Olympics.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Tuesday warned Americans that “disruption to everyday life could be severe,” with many wondering if the Olympics needed to be shut down. This is likely to last relatively long.
