Tom Brady Future Becomes Chief NFL Storyline
Super Bowl 54 is in the history books, and Tom Brady’s future is now the most pressing subject in the NFL.
At age 42, Brady has spent his entire 20 years in the NFL with the New England Patriots. During that period, Brady led owner Robert Kraft’s team to six Super Bowl titles, and has individually claimed four Super Bowl MVP awards and three regular season MVP honors.
But coming on March 17, Brady will officially become a free agent for the first time in his illustrious career. Speculation is intensifying whether he will return to New England, or take his talents elsewhere.
Some 26 million Americans were expected to place bets on tomorrow’s Super Bowl, and those who live in states where DraftKings operates the sportsbook could place legal bets on Brady’s future.
Objectionable Rumors
There has been uproar that Brady bought a house in southern Nevada, but the Las Vegas Review-Journal says those reports are unfounded.
UFC President Dana White – A personal friend of Brady’s at the time said, “If he’s not playing for Boston, he’s playing here.”
2021 Odds
Any team that lands Brady will reduce their Super Bowl odds. The Raiders coming off a disappointing end to their time in Oakland, the team lost their final two games at the Coliseum and missed the playoffs, ending the season 7-9.
The Super Bowl 54 champion Kansas City is a favorite at 5/1. The Chiefs are followed by their Super Bowl 54 foes 49ers as well as the Baltimore Ravens at 8/1. The Saints are fourth on 10/1 and the Cowboys are fifth on 12/1. The Patriots are on the next 14/1.
